Focus on Grad Student Stress

Given that, during my three years here, Harvard seems to be losing roughly one graduate student a year to suicide, I can't help but wonder if the administration might not benefit from a reallocation of its attention from hip and media-friendly topics such as the incorporation of transgenderism into the University's non-discrimination policy to the more mundane issue of what it is about Harvard and its graduate program that makes graduate students jump out of buildings.

Is this issue simply too pedestrian and unsophisticated to be a cause for concern? --Andrew Gossen, G3
