The preseason Ivy League basketball polls were released yesterday and the results surprised no one--the Princeton men's basketball team and the Harvard women's basketball team were picked by the media to repeat as conference champions.
Both Princeton and Harvard compiled perfect 14-0 records in League play last season and each team returns most of its key players. The Tigers will be led by two-time first team All-Ivy center Steve Goodrich, while Harvard is captained by two-time Ivy League Player of the Year Allison Feaster.
Princeton and Harvard both earned 14 out of a possible 16 first-place votes from a media voting representing each of the eight Ivy League schools.
