I was shocked to discover that, after years of tradition, months of planning and weeks of postering; after the heroic efforts of Freshman Caucus member Catherine D. Rucker '99; after the hordes of first-years streamed across the Yard to leave in their chartered trolleys--after all this, The Crimson chose to ignore one of the most important social events for a quarter of the college community and not run an article on the March 1 Freshman Formal. Has our esteemed campus newspaper decided that only upperclass events are important? Or was this just negligence? --Stephen E.
