NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday afternoon, Harvard athletics returned to the national scene as three members of the men's wrestling team participated in the NCAA Tournament in Minneapolis.

The Crimson displayed its youth at the tournament, sending freshman Ed Mosley and sophomores Dustin DeNunzio and Joel Friedman.

All three wrestlers competed yeasterday afternoon. Unfortunately, each lost in very close matches.

Mosley lost in the 158 pound weight class to Hardell Moore of Oklahoma State, 4-3.

Shawn Ford of Arizona State topped DeNunzio in the 126 pound weight class, 5-3.

Friedman fell in the 134 pound weight class to Steve St. John of Arizona State, 11-4.

Because of their first round losses, each wrestler moved into the consolation round, where they can finish no higher than third. A second loss will eliminate them from competition.
