Bicyclist, Car Collide

By Andrew A. Green

A woman riding her bicycle east on Mass. Ave. collided with a car turning left off Plympton Street just before 3 p.m. yesterday, injuring the cyclist, according to eyewitnesses.

The cyclist, a graduate student who asked not to be identified, was released from Cambridge City Hospital last night and said she was not seriously hurt.

According to Cambridge Police Accident Investigator Paul W. Klerohwski, the cyclist was riding the wrong way down the street and struck the front bumper of the car, which was making a legal left turn onto Mass. Ave.
