Harvard Student Agencies Board Elects New President

Amit Tiwari '98 was elected president of Harvard Student Agencies (HSA) last night, capping a week of platform speeches and the election of a new board of directors.

Tiwari is now in charge of HSA's 11 agencies and its $4 million budget. He said his chief responsibility will be raising $3.5 million dollars to help move its officers from 53A Church St. to 67 Mt. Auburn St.

"I ran on a platform of revitalizing the entreprenurial spirit of HSA. My campaign slogan was 'Let's Grow," said Tiwari, and Eliot House resident.

Nine students from a field of 23 were elected to the board of directors which then chose Tiwari as its president.
