Fortunately for the Harvard women's ice hockey team, the games at the Bright Hockey Center against Quebec-Three Rivers last Saturday and St. Laurent yesterday were only exhibitions. Harvard lost to Quebec-Three Rivers, 6-1, and to St. Laurent, 6-3.

The Crimson started the scoring in the Quebec-Three Rivers game with a goal off the stick of junior A.J. Mleczko. Quebec-Three Rivers responded to its ephemeral deficit by scoring six unanswered goals. Sophomore Jen Bowdoin chalked up 23 saves in goal.

Against St. Laurent, Mleczko once again started the scoring, this time with two goals in the first period. After a St. Laurent score, Crimson freshman Catherine Kreindler placed one in the nets to make the score 3-1 Harvard. However, five straight St. Laurent goals later, Harvard had another exhibition loss, this time 6-3.
