While I agree with the majority of the staff's requests, I feel their call for a math requirement is a step in the wrong direction. Instead, the Core should be downsized or eliminated completely so as to provide for the greatest amount of student choice.

I further urge the deans to reconsider randomization in the housing lottery. It was a bad idea, but it's not too late to go back. Let students live where they choose.
