Due to a reporting error, an article in yesterday's Crimson contained an inaccuracy. Anthony G. Oettinger, professor of applied mathematics and professor of information resources policy, was reported to have said he "did not want to associate [himself] with the 'general tenor"' of the remarks of Professor David Landes. Oettinger said yesterday he did want to associate himself with Landes. In a letter yesterday, Oettinger said "faculty and administration [need] to co-exist and to collaborate in an appropriately balanced way."
