Every boxer needs a fist, and every lacrosse team needs a scorer.
For the Harvard women's lacrosse team, that title is indisputeably held by senior Sarah Winters. The midfielder/attacker leads the team with 32 goals--next-best on the team is 17--and is second on the team in assists (15) and ground balls (39).
The Eliot House resident has had a flair for the dramatic all sesson. She tallied seven goals at UNH to ensure her team's 16-10 win and scored the first two goals of Saturday's 17-2 win over Vermont--23 seconds apart.
Winter's career will end with this Thursday's game at Brown. Chances are, she'll score a couple.
