Police sealed off most of Dunster House this morning as they investigated the murder-suicide, interrupting students' last-second efforts to store boxes for the summer.
Yesterday was the last day underclass students could vacate the houses, so many students and parents were busy moving out and storing.
But as a result of the police investigation, the Dunster superintendent H. Joseph O'Connor canceled that morning's storage hours.
In addition, dozens of state, Cambridge and Harvard police patrolled the Dunster courtyard this morning, instructing students to travel via the tunnels. Other law enforcement officers were stationed outside the main entrance to Dunster, preventing non-Dunster residents from entering the house.
Still, the superintendent said that this afternoon's storage time would be extended for one or two hours to accommodate students.
There will also be storage hours tomorrow, O'Conner said.
