Being upset in the quarterfinals fo the ECAC tournament by RPI is not how senior forward Steve Martins would have liked to end his Crimson career.
However, even in what would prove to be the last games of Martins' collegiate career, the offensive dynamo refused to be stopped.
Martins notched assists on both goals in the Crimson's 2-2 tie against RPI, Friday, and then tallied Harvard's only goal its season-ending 3-1 loss to the Engineers, Saturday. The weekend performance left Martins with 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists) on the season--tops on the team.
Martins' final points moved him into 14th place in the ranks of the Crimson's all-time scoring leaders. The cabot House resident finished his career with 139 points (59 goals, 80 assists).
