Breathe a sigh of relief, Harvard hockey fans and players.
By virtue of Harvard's 8-3 win over St. Lawrence last night and Princeton's 1-0 loss to Vermont, the Crimson has clinched one of the top four spots in the ECAC and will host a best-of-three ECAC quarterfinal next weekend at Bright Hockey Center.
Coming into last night's game, no one knew where Harvard would finish. Harvard can be no worse than fourth.
There will be at least one more weekend of Harvard hockey and one more weekend on home ice. Playoff games will be Friday night at 7:30, Saturday at 7 and Sunday at 7 if necessary.
Tickets will cost nine dollars for the public. Students can exchange coupons 27-29 at the basement of Harvard Hall and four dollars for each ticket purchased Monday morning.
