Last semester, we asked for your short short stories, and lo and behold we received. A few Okay, okay--so the number of entries in our short short story contest may not have been as large as we anticipated. As the following tales prove, though, it's not the size that matters.

My Froggie

I once had a black labrador retriever. I named him frog. Every night, I would call him.

"Here, froggie froggie froggie, here frog."

My mom thought that frog was a weird name for a dog. I thought that it was cool, frog the dog.

I took him to school one day. Someone wanted to dissect him because his name was frog. They even chased him with sticks.

After that I called him Rover.
