Smoking Ban Unfair

Smoking is distasteful but it is not illegal. Restaurants already designate non-smoking sections, and these are sufficient to allow non-smokers to eat a comfortable, smoke-free meal. A total ban is therefore unnecessary and is unfair to smokers and restaurant owners. By supporting a total ban, the staff has affirmed a "right to never inhale a whiff of smoke"--a right which simply does not exist.
