In need of a job? The Cambridge City Manager's Office might have what you're looking for. An assistant director at the City Manager's Office department of personell, who asked not to be identified, said that the Office of Personnel is currently in the process of selecting a new police commissioner.
According to the assistant director, both a citizen pannel and a professional pannel will be used to make the selection of a new commisioner to replace the outgoing commissioner who has retired.
The deadline for submission of applications is December 8, and the term of office is for a contracted period which is annually renewable.
