Staff Contradicts Position

DISSENT

By Jamie W. Billett

Though I am glad to see the staff support decentralization of administrative power, I think it should be pointed out that this editorial seems to contradict The Crimson's previous stance on rent control.

On that issue the staff is perfectly willing to let a state-wide election over-ride local determination of rent control.

If only they were willing to apply the same principles to rent control as to study cards, all those poor disabled octogenarians and impoverished families would not be kicked out into the street.
