New Mechanical Door Breaks Twice

Eliot House

By Eliot Bush

Eliot House's brand new, state-of-the-art, mechanical main door has been cracked twice in the last week.

The glass on the door was found cracked on Sunday, and again on Wednesday night, said Hank L. Slonina, Eliot's superintendant.

He attributes the damage to vandalism. "We don't know who did it, but it smashed twice," Slonina said. "Nobody loves us."

The door was fixed promptly. By Wednesday afternoon it had already been fixed for a second time. "I'm a fast man," Slonina said.
