Wigg H-21 Fire Gets Out Of Control

By Daniel S. Cohan

A fire in the fireplace of Wigglesworth H-21 last night sent smoke pouring into the common room, setting off an alarm that evacuated the entire dorm at about 10:15 p.m.

A firefighter doused the flames with a fire extinguisher and threw the logs out the window.

"We were just sitting around the fire trying to get cozy, then the Duraflame broke and flames went everywhere," Josiah T. Epps '98 said.
