Harvard junior Brad Konik picked up the ECAC Player of the Week award for his two-goal performance this past Saturday in the Crimson's 3-2 victory at Colgate. Konik evened the game at 1-1 in the first period and scored again in the second after the Red Raiders had jumped ahead, 2-1.
Konik returned to the Crimson this year after taking last season off to nurse a knee injury he suffered during the 1992-93 campaign.
Harvard won the game less than a minute into the third period when junior Jason Karmanos beat Colgate goalie Dan Brenzavich. The victory vaulted Harvard (5-5-1 overall, 5-3-1 BCAC) into second place in the ECAC.
