At its meeting Sunday night, the mather House Committee continued plans for a movie showing this weekend and a house party later this month.
The house will show "Philadelphia" in Science Center B, at 8 and 10:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday nights. Admission is $3.
Mather is also planning a House party for October 29. Committee Treasurer Christopher G. Evers '95 said the dance may be a "Screw Your Roommate" event--where students hook each other up with blind dates--but no decision was made Sunday.
This will be Mather's second house party, and Evers said he was hoping for better attendance then at the first.
"This year, [the Welcome Back house party] did not go over so well," Evers said. "I don't know why."
