"La Strada" on Oct. 28 at 4, 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Fellini's early masterpiece and the film that brought him international acclaim, "La Strada" has been out of distribution since 1988. The timeless story of an innocent peasant girl employed and seduced by an itinerant circus strongman. Giulietta Masina is outstanding as Gelsomina the waif, and Anthony Quinn and Richard Basehart's performances equal hers as the two men in her life.

"Household Saints" from Friday, Oct. 29 through Thursday, Nov. 11. at 3, 5:20, 7:40 and 10 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 12:40 p.m. This is a dreamily realistic fable, based on a novel by Francine Prose. Set in New York's Little Italy in the years following World War II, this film examines the changing American culture through three different generations of Italian-American women and each woman's unique relationship to faith and family tradition. A freak heat wave causes a father to wager his only daughter against a blast of cool air in a pinochle game; a deal of cards begins a relationship that will produce a child obsessed with miracles.
