Francie Walton, Harvard (Sr., M) Chestnut Hill, Mass. Walton tied a school record by scoring all four of her team's goals against Springfield. It was the Crimson's first win of the season. Walton upped her season-goals total to six with the outburst. The 1990 Ivy Rookie of the Year, Walton was second-team All-Ivy two years ago and first team All-Ivy last season.

Beth Gifford, Cornell (Fr., F) Langhorne, Pa. Gifford picked a big spot for the first goal of her collegiate career. Hers was the only tally in Cornell's 1-0 victory over Harvard. A Cornell freshman hadn't scored a goal since the 1990 season.
