OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Steve Mills, Yale QB (Sr., 6-0, 191) Bristol, Conn.

Mills was instrumental in Yale's defeat of Holy Cross Saturday. For the third straight week, he posted a career high in passing yardage with 305 yards on 17-of-28 passing and two touchdowns. In addition, he rushed 12 times for 55 yards. Mills led the team on a 75-yard march in 31 seconds for the game-winning touchdown, which came with 1:51 left in the game. On that play, Mills hit WR Dave lwan for a 22-yard score.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ryan Blattenburger, Cornell SS (Sr., 5-9, 180) Ephrata, Pa.

Blattenburger returned from an injury suffered in the Princeton opener to make six solo tackles and help out on seven more for a total of 13, with one tackle for a two-yard loss. The Cornell strong safety was a key to the defense that held Harvard to 207 yards of total offense and 2.9 yards per play. Harvard did not have a first down until its first series of the second quarter.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Miles Macik, Pennsylvania WR (So., 6-4, 212) Marlboro, N.J.

Macik makes his second straight appearance as Rookie of the Week after continuing his assault on opposing defenses against Colgate. He caught eight passes for 153 yards, including a 62-yard TD grab. The nation's leading recevier is on pace to shatter every Penn single-season receiveing record.

Tobin Hoppes, Brown DB (So., 6-1, 190) Washington Courthouse, Oh.--13 tackles against Princeton, eight solo.
