Vandals Strike Mather House
Unknown vandals did approximately $100 worth of damage to Mather House last Wednesday, according to the Harvard University Police Department.
The vandals used permanent market to deface the exterior brick wall of the master's residence with graffiti. An adjacent by the tutors' garage was also marked by the vandals. No suspects have been identified.
University police are also investigating a string of robberies that took place at Grays Hall last week, resulting in a total loss of over $1200. The first theft, on the Monday, involved a loss of $15 in cash. On Tuesday, credit cards and $800 in cash were stolen from an fifth floor room, and later that day a $400 gold garnet graduation ring was taken from a second floor room. According to police reports two black females. who were soliciting in the building, may have been involved.
