Linksters Take Second

The Harvard men's golf team got needed production from all members of its squad yesterday, but it wasn't quite enough, as Amherst edged out the Crimson by one point in Stowe, Mass.

Harvard (0-1) tallied 383 strokes (Amherst had 382) to take second place, while Tufts limped into third with 412.

The highlight for the Crimson was senior Andy Chao who shot a match-best 73. Freshman Jack Wylie (76) and sophomore Dave McCabe (80) also well performed in the clutch..

W. Lax to Take on Yale

The Harvard women's lacrosse team (6-0 overall, 2-0) takes its show on the road today as it challenges Yale in a battle of undefeated Ivy teams.

The Crimson, ranked first in the country, should have little trouble dispatching the Elis (3-3, 2-0) today in New Haven.

Yale is anchored by junior attacker Eva Vishio (9 goals, 4 assists), senior Jenn Huber (who scooped up 12 ground balls in two games last week) and sophomore Jackie Joseph (fourth in Ivy goal scoring).

Today's game is at 3 p.m.
