Action Man Endorses Clinton

Notorious Crank Caller to Vote for `Fresh Blood'

By D. RICHARD De silva, Crimson Staff Writer

Does the nation want some action?

Then they should vote for Bill Clinton, according to "The Action Man," the notorious crank caller who for years has plagued and entertained hundreds of male Harvard students.

In an impromptu telephone conversation yesterday, Mr. Man revealed his support for the Democratic front-runner, saying that the country needs a candidate who would make drastic changes.

When asked about who he plans to vote for on Wednesday, Mr. Man scoffed.

"Who do you think?" Mr. Man said. "We need new blood in this country. We need fresh ideas."

He said he rejects the "can-do," anti-establishment platform of Texas billionaire Ross Perot, insisting Clinton's youth and fresh outlook give him a decisive edge over his opponents.

"[Clinton's] young. I like him," said Mr. Man. "That's who all the young people are voting for."
