While the weather for Saturday's women's heavyweight crew race against Brown may not have been the same as last week's competition against Northeastern, the result certainly was.
Coming off a decisive victory over the Huskies, the Radcliffe crew team roared down the sundrenched Charles on Saturday, finishing 14 seconds ahead of a strong Bruins squad.
"This was a big win," Captain Cecile Ulbrich said. "This was our first dual race with them, and it was something we were nervous about."
The team's strong performance against Brown sets it up for a showdown next Saturday on Lake Carnegie against a deep Princeton team. Cornell will also compete in the weekend's competition.
