War Update

* The fighting continues, and after 57,000 combat and supply sorties, allied bombers have destroyed up to 20 percent of Iraq's tanks, artillery and armored personnel carriers in Kuwait and southern Iraq.

* Secretary of Defense Richard Cheney, after a day of meetings with top U.S. brass, declined to comment on when and where the allies would launch an expected ground attack.
