Thirteen members of Harvard Hillel's Harvard Israel Political Affairs Committee attended a lecture given by Columbia University Professor and Palestinian rights advocate Edward W. Said.

The talk, titled "Prospects for Peace in the Middle East," was given at Wellesley College Thursday night.

"It is essential for us to hear the other side of the story," said Kamron Rokhsar '94, a member of the Harvard group.

While many in the audience seemed impressed by Said's speech, some Hillel members questioned him on what they felt were factual inaccuracies and ideological inconsistencies.
