HUPD to Give Out Free Bike Lock Adapters

Free sleeve adapters for Kryptonite locks will be given out to the first 50 students to register their bicycles with the Harvard University Police station on Wednesday, October 9 at 9:00am.

The first 50 students arriving will receive coupons for sleeve adapters redeemable at the Bicycle Exchange, and can register their bikes until 2:00 pm. Thereafter registraton can be completed during office hours at the University Police Department.

Police records have shown a high rate of bike theft s both on campus and in Harvard Square so far this year.
