Police officers and bystanders broke up a fight among a group of youths in the bus terminal of the Harvard Square T station last night, according to police reports.

At approximately 10:45 p.m., Harvard, Cambridge and MBTA officers responded to reports of a brawl in the station.

Some of those present were detained a short while for questioning by members of different police units, but no arrests were made, police said.

Members of the vigilante-group the Guardian Angels, helped break up the fight, according to police reports. Four men, wearing the Angels' distinctive berets, were seen in Eliot Square speaking with police officers after the incident.
