CORRECTION

An article in yesterday's Crimson about disciplinary action taken against Andrew S. Kuan '92 for manufacturing and selling fake driver's licenses contained several inaccuracies.

Kuan said yesterday that IDs were sold at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), but that he did not sell any to Boston University students. Kuan also denied selling IDs to Harvard students.

At a court hearing last week, Assistant District Attorney Paul McLaughlin said Kuan had distributed ten fake licenses at Harvard. McLaughlin did not say whether the IDs made for Harvard students were sold or given away for free.

Kuan was not arrested by MIT police. He was summoned to Cambridge District Court by Registry of Motor Vehicles police after a joint MIT-Registry investigation.
