8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
In what appears to have become an unwelcome back-to-school trend, more than $100-worth of cash and property was stolen from a dormitory room yesterday.
In this Adams House burglary, like recent ones in Weld and Dunster, only items which could fit in a shopping bag were stolen--in this case a camera, jewelery and cash. A stereo, small CD-player and numerous CDs were left untouched, residents of the room said.
The room's occupants said they had left the door open because they were having trouble with it. They said insurance will cover most of the losses.
Harvard police are investigating and have not ruled out the possibility that the burglar could be a Harvard student, the victims said.
