To the Editors of The Crimson:

I am writing to correct a statement made in the November 10, 1989, Harvard Crimson Hockey Supplement. In the Harvard Hockey Quiz on page 14, you ask for the native Minnesotans on this year's squad. You correctly identify Tod Hartje and Mike Vukonich. However, you omit Craig Miskovich, who was born and raised in Minnesota. Furthermore, as the dictionary defines "native" as "being such by birth or origin," the McCormack brothers, Scott and Brian, should also have been included, even though they now live elsewhere. J. Aron Allen, who now lives in Minnesota, would not be a correct response to the question as he was born in the South. I think The Crimson should set the record straight and do a more thorough job of checking its facts in the future. Trevor W Carlton '91
