On March 15 The Crimson erroneously reported that The Boston Herald had printed an apology on March 11 for an article appearing the previous day. The paper published an explanatory follow-up.
The Crimson also attributed a city official's comment that "It is simply untrue that there's any connection between state budget pressures and the end of funding for shelters always intended to be temporary," to the Herald reporter.
