The eight teams in the Eastern Tournament will be divided into two groups: Group A Group B Bucknell Brown Ohio State Harvard Queens MIT Slippery Rock Penn State
The teams will play each member of their group once, according to the following schedule:
Friday 8:00 p.m. Harvard vs. Brown 9:00 p.m. MIT vs. Penn State
Saturday 11:15 a.m. Queens vs. Bucknell 12:15 a.m. Slippery Rock vs. Ohio States 1:15 p.m. Harvard vs. Penn State 2:15 p.m. MIT vs. Brown 3:15 p.m. Queens vs. Ohio State 4:15 p.m, Slippery Rock vs. Bucknell 5:15 p.m. Brown vs. Penn State 6:15 p.m. Harvard vs. MIT 7:15 p.m. Bucknell vs. Ohio State 8:15 p.m. Slippery Rock vs. Queens
The teams are ranked in order of their performance in the first two days of competition, and two more groups are formed: Championship Consolation A--First Place A--Third Place B--First Place B--Third Place A--Second Place A--Fourth Place B--Second Place B--Fourth Place
In the final round, each team plays against members of the opposite group (Group A teams play only against Group B Opponents, and vice versa). The winner is the team with the best overall record.
