ITHACA, N.Y.--Mark Tretowicz scored at 6:02 of a 10-minute mini-game off a feed from his brother Dave to give Clarkson a 1-0 victory over Cornell Saturday night and a berth in the ECAC semifinals.

Dave Tretowicz intercepted an errant pass in the Cornell zone and fed Mark in the slot, and he moved in, faked freshman goalie Corrie D'Alessio and flipped in a backhander.

D'Alessio was spectacular in the mini-game, making eight saves. Clarkson goalie John Fletcher finished with four saves.

Clarkson (16-14-3 overall) advances to the ECAC championship tournament at Boston Garden March 11, where it will face Harvard. Cornell finished its season with a 19-9 record.

Cornell forced the mini-game with a 4-2 victory in the second game.
