To the Editors of The Crimson:
I am deeply grateful that you awarded me a Pulitzer Prize in journalism in Friday's edition. That is not, however, exactly what happened. The New York Times staff received a prize for national reporting for coverage of the aftermath of the shuttle disaster. The Crimson regrets the error.
