Two Cagers Gain Ivy Honors

Harvard men's basketball Co-Captain Keith Webster was named yesterday to the Second Team All-Ivy squad. The Crimson's other co-captain, Arne Duncan, received honorable mention.

Webster, a senior guard who netted 21 points in his collegiate finale at Dartmouth two nights ago, was the cagers' second-leading scorer this season, averaging 16.3 points per game.

The Crimson's seventh all-time leading scorer with 1093 total points, Webster also finished second on the squad in both assists (98) and steals (52). His 42 three-point baskets led the Ivies.

Duncan, a senior forward who joined the exclusive 1000-point club in his final game two nights ago, paced Harvard in scoring this season with a 16.9 points per game average. His 54 steals also led the Crimson.

No Surprise

First Team All-Ivy honorees included John Bajusz of Cornell, Perry Bromwell and Bruce Lefkowitz of Penn, Chris Dudley and Paul Maley of Yale, and Sean Couch of Columbia.

Joining Webster on the Second Team were Princeton's Alan Williams and Joe Scott, and Dartmouth's Jim Barton and Bryan Randall.

Bromwell also was named Ivy League Player of the Year and Columbia's Guido Casparis was named conference Rookie of the Year.
