Harvard hockey forward Ed Krayer has elected to take a leave of absence for the second semester, a press release announced Monday.
Krayer, a sophomore, said he is not getting enough out of his education at Harvard and needs time to renew his interest.
As the team's second-line center, Krayer had two goals and nine assists in 14 games. Over his two-year career, he has 11 goals and 31 assists.
In the Crimson's last game--a 5-4 overtime loss to Northeastern in the Beanpot--Krayer was seen on the Crimson bench wearing a coat and tie.
Krayer is a native of Acton, Mass. He graduated from St. Paul's school.
