The Harvard baseball squad opens its regular season today with a Greater Boston League contest against Tufts at Soldiers Field.

The Crimson, which swept last year's doubleheader against the Jumbos, brings a 3-3-2 mark into the game after completing a spring break series of battles with Red Sox minor leaguers.

Harvard captured last year's GBL title by winning all eight games on the schedule, while Tufts finished last in the field of six teams (Harvard, Tufts, Boston College, Boston University, Northeastern, and Brandeis).

The Jumbos enter the game with an 0-1 record.
