Women Fencers Smash URI, 12-4

The Harvard women's fencing team trounced Rhode Island College, 12-4, last night in Rhode Island.

Kristina Perkin turned in an outstanding performance, going 4-0 in her individual bouts.

Freshman sensation Penelope Papailias continued her winning ways, capturing three bouts while losing none.

The fine all-around performance upped the Crimson's record to 9-5.

"We really had it together," Captain Giulia Cicchetti said.

The Crimson travels to Cornell Saturday.
