About 6500 Harvard students will register today for spring semester courses when they pick up their study cards at Memorial Hall between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
In addition to picking up study cards, students will receive in their registration packets a list of the classes the student took last term and in some cases, information from their Houses and their concentrations.
Students who fail to pick up their packets today face a $40 fine.
A "red dot" will appear on the registration packets of students who are behind on tuition payments or whose financial forms have been filled out incorrectly. "Red-dotted" students will not receive their study cards in their registration packets.
Registrar Margaret E. Law said yesterday that she did not know how many students will be "red-dotted" today. Approximately 1000 of the 6500 students who registered one year ago were "red-dotted."
Completed study cards are due Friday, February 7th at Memorial Hall for upperclassmen. Freshmen should turn their cards into the Freshman Dean's Office.
