Jewett replaces John B. Fox Jr, '59 as dean of the College after serving as Harvard's dean of admissions and financial aids for 13 years. In his new post, Jewett will oversee all non-academic programs and activities for the College's 6500 undergraduates. He will also become chairman of the Administrative Board, the Committee on College Life and the Committee on House Life. Jewett graduated magna cum laudeand Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College and received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1960.
