Harvard's three men's tennis singles players and top doubles team has received bids to the NCAA individual championships in Athens, Ga, in two weeks.

The NCAA announced yesterday that Co-Captains Dave Beckman and Larry Scott and sophomore Bill Stanley will play in the 64-man singles tournament, while Scott and freshman Arkie Engle will compete in the 32-team doubles field.

"I'm just delighted," Harvard Coach Dave Fish said, "It's never happened this way before...and it's a credit to their records that all of them were chosen."

Fom singles and two doubles bids are allotted to the entire East Coast, and this year marks the first time in recent memory that a single Eastern school has received three of the single bids.
