Harvard offensive tackle Roger Caron was selected in the fifth round of yesterday's National Football League draft by the Indianapolis Colts.
Caron, who was a second round pick of the Baltimore Stars in January's United States Football League draft, was the fifth player in taken in round number five, and the 117th overall.
The Kirkland House senior garnered All-Ivy honors in both 1963 and 1964 and was selected to Division I-AA All-American teams both years--as an honorable mention in 1983, and as a first team pick last year.
The Norwell, Mass, native was the second New England player selected in yesterday's draft.
