The Harvard wrestling team finished 13th overall in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Championships Saturday in Syracuse, N.Y., but placed its two most consistent members on the medal stand.

Captain Peter Holmes concluded his illustrious career on the mats with a fourth-place finish in the 167-lb. division. Holmes faced Cornell's Andy Rice in a much-anticipated semifinal match--the two tied 1-1 in their duel earlier this year. Neither could score a point until Rice took. Holmes down and levelled the quick pin during the second period. This was only the second time in his collegiate career that Holmes was pinned.

Alex Konolvachik rebounded from a quarterfinal pin to snag a fifth-place finish in the 190-lb. class. Konovalchik rose up through the loser's bracket in the double elimination tournament.
