Penn Trips Women, 13-3

The Harvard women's fencing team hosted the University of Pennsylvania prior to the men's meet last night at the IAB. But unlike the men, the women were unable to topple the mighty Quakers.

Instead, Ivy power Penn notched a 13-3 victory over the Crimson, now 4-2 on the year.

"It was our toughest meet of the year," Harvard's Penelope Papailias said. The women fencers had previously triumphed over Holy Cross, Brown, UMass and Brandeis.
