Ray Saunders kicked two field goals and the Penn defense held Davidson to six yards total offense as the Quakers drubbed the Wildcats, 15-0, in Davidson, N.C.

It was the first time that Penn played a game in the state of North Carolina.

Penn's defense got the Quakers on the scoreboard after only three plays when Davidson quarterback Charlie Wilborne was pinned in the endzone by Tom Gilmore for a safety.

Midway through the second quarter, Saunders capped a 62-yd. drive with a 40-yd. field goal to increase the lead to 5-0. IVY STANDINGS Team  W  L  T HARVARD  3  0  0 Penn  3  0  0 Yale  2  0  0 Princeton  2  1  0 Brown  2  2  0 Dartmouth  0  2  0 Cornell  0  3  0 Columbia  0  4  0
